Module Description:
This module explores how written narrative is reimagined through digital media, encouraging students to experiment with their writing practice and ideas about literature, storytelling, and persuasive communication on online platforms. It aims to enhance students' individual profiles and critical self-awareness as writers in creative/professional domains. The module develops conceptual and experiential understanding of electronic literature and digital narrative forms, covering blogging, interactive narrative, e-books, and transmedia narratives, with an introduction to relevant tools.
Upon completion, students will be able to:
- Plan, develop, and produce original digital narratives or electronic literature.
- Articulate conceptual knowledge of digital writing practice.
- Reflect critically on new media's role in shaping literature and literacies
- Learn independently for professional development.
